Location & Areas We Serve
History
Highland Road Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary services to Baton Rouge for over 40 years and has the remarkable accomplishment of having been an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) hospital for nearly 30 consecutive years! Dr. Randy Thayer opened the hospital in 1968 to offer quality care to the pets of the Highland Road and Kenilworth areas. As the area has grown, so has the practice. Dr. Carrie Fox joined the practice in 1995 and transitioned to owner in 2002. Dr. Thayer retired in 2004. Dr. Adrian Bergeron was added as a partner in 2008. We have continued with Dr. Thayer's original goals of exceptional veterinary care in our outstanding new facility that opened in November 2010. We are committed to quality health care for your pet. Our clients return to find compassion, answers, and genuine love for their pets.
