History
Avenue Animal Hospital was the first veterinary clinic to open in Tinley Park, IL in the early 1970s. Dr. James P. Wahl purchased the clinic in 1987 and has been here ever since. For the first 20 years, Dr. Wahl was the sole practitioner, but the practice has slowly expanded from a small 900-square-foot facility to a 4,500-square-foot facility with four veterinarians. Throughout the whole process, we have maintained the same level of personal service that pet owners and their furry friends deserve and respect. We are dedicated to our patients and will do everything in our power to make sure they lead a long and happy life. When you bring your pet to our office, they instantly become a part of our family as well!
