History
SportsVet Animal Medical Center originated as a home-based canine rehabilitation practice in 2003. Dr. Jacobs traveled throughout the state of Illinois, performing canine rehabilitation for a select group of patients.
In June of 2004, SportsVet was expanded into a full-service veterinary clinic and rehabilitation center. Dr. Jacobs was finally fulfilling his vision: to provide pets and their owners with compassionate veterinary care and canine rehabilitation in one convenient location.
