History
Aina Haina Pet Hospital was established in 1960 by Dr. Al Takayama, Sr. Our clinic was originally located in the little town of Aina Haina, along Kalanianaole Highway. Dr. Allen Takayama joined the practice in 1990 and worked alongside his father Dr. Al for many years. In 2009, Dr. Al retired and Dr. Allen took over and moved the practice to Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki. Though we miss Aina Haina, we found a new home and are devoted to the furry families we had in Aina Haina and the new ones that we are making in Kaimuki. In 2015, Dr. Nicole Tsutahara joined our practice. We were very excited to have Dr. Nicole back with us, as she was our technician for many years before attending veterinary school.
