History
Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital has been serving the veterinary needs of the Thomasville community for over 100 years. It was started sometime in the early 1900's by Dr. Ferguson Davis. Dr. Roland Clanton, Sr. bought the practice in 1943. The office location has been moved around over the years from downtown, then onto the Moultrie Road, and in 1990 Dr. Jimmy Clanton, Jr. built the present location on Pinetree Boulevard.
In 1992, we became accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Our facility is continually evolving and changing, in an attempt to provide our patients, your pets, with the highest quality veterinary care possible.
Dr. Jimmy Clanton and Dr. Beckey Malphus became partners in 1994. In 2001, Dr. Beckey Malphus and Dr. Dale Hodges became the owners of Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital.
We are a full service hospital offering you the most up to date medical and surgical healthcare for your animals. Our knowledgeable staff will provide your pet with the best personalized attention possible.
