History
Northwood Animal Hospital was founded in 1972 and has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1975.
The current owners, Dr. Sondra Brown & Dr. Kevin Brumfield, purchased the hospital in January 2000. We have 9 doctors, plus a well-trained and caring support staff that allow us to provide the best patient care available. We are open for normal business hours and remain open after hours as PETS Emergency Hospital. We have a veterinary technician and other support staff present after hours and a doctor present or on call if an after hour emergency arises. If your pet has to be hospitalized, they will have 24 hour care at a single location with the top technical staff and doctors available. We also work closely with referring local veterinarians to care for their patients on an emergency basis or for special procedures.
