History
The Avian & Exotic Clinic of Palm City, Owned by Dr. April Romagnano, is a full service veterinary hospital opened on October 2011 in Palm City, FL. This modern medical and surgical facility offers a wide variety of services for avian, exotic, reptiles and their owners.
The clinic philosophy is to provide compassionate veterinary care and innovative husbandry for our bird, exotic, and reptile patients. In addition to routine health examinations and vaccinations, the clinic has a variety of equipment that allows the doctor to provide quality medical and surgical care. Digital radiology services, endoscopy, biopsies, blood and/or surgical sexing, cytology, gram stains, boarding, foraging toys and informational lectures.
In the state of the art surgical suite, patients can be monitored with pulse oximetry and EKG. Intensive care units are used to provide heat and oxygen support for our avian and small animal patients. And an isolation ward with a separate ventilation system can house even large avian patients in comfort.
Patient prescriptions are filled in the clinic's pharmacy and the nutritional needs are met with the variety of foods kept in stock.
