History
Shaffer Animal Hospital opened in August of 1999 in Oviedo, Florida by Drs. Kendra and Jeff Shaffer. After working alongside Dr. Kendra and Dr. Jeff for nearly nine years, Dr. Nicole Gerrish and Dr. Sarika Patel were very pleased to have the opportunity to purchase the practice when Dr. Jeff and Dr. Kendra retired. Dr. Gerrish and Dr. Patel strive to carry on the caring, compassionate, and quality care that clients and patients have come to expect over the years. Since opening the practice, the staff at Shaffer Animal Hospital have been blessed to serve the Oviedo area and have grown to fit our community's need for a state-of-the-art small animal hospital, while offering grooming, training, doggie daycare and boarding. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and your beloved companions!
