History
"The clinic was founded by Bruce and Carolyn Bowman in the summer of 1988 at the present location of Quebec and County line rd. They started with just the two of them. Carolyn was receptionist, technician, and bookkeeper. Bruce was the doc and ran the laboratory equipment. X-rays were done by the old- fashioned dunk and peek method. Now we have digital radiology, and Idexx catalyst to run blood work. I started working at the clinic in the fall of 1998 part-time. I then started working full time in 2001. I have seen many team members come and go, but we have several "old timer's' even if they aren't old. Erik and Andrea have been with us for over 10 years, Lynzee over 5 years, and even though Anny has been only a few years, I hope there will be many more to come. We survived the recession of 2008, when business' around us were failing at an alarming rate. We didn't have to let any personnel go, although there were a few very slow, scary years. The clinic was renovated in 2015, and I have plans to renovate again in the near future. I would like to go paperless, start an on-line pharmacy, begin a bar-code method to monitor inventory, and acquire a dental digital x-ray equipment. My ability to buy the clinic could not have been achieved without the hard work and amazing investment expertise of both my mother and father. I only wish this dream could have come to fruition before they passed. The Clinic's story under my watch is dedicated to them; Larry and LaVerne Clow. Thanks mom and dad. I hope to make you proud."
