Arapahoe Animal Hospital for small animals, birds, and exotics was founded in 1954 and originally located a few blocks west of our present Main Hospital location. In 1969, our hospital moved to itscurrent Main Hospital address at 5585 Arapahoe Ave. in Boulder and our innovatively-designed building wasthen surrounded by green open fields! Our Main Hospital (and surrounding neighborhood) grew steadily over the years. In 2007, we opened our second hospital location, Arapahoe Animal Hospital Downtown, at 1730 15th Street in Downtown Boulder. Our two hospital locations share the same patient medical info data base and our same great staff!Today, Arapahoe Animal Hospital, in two convenient locations, is a full-service, state-of-the-art medical facility known for its veterinary excellence and warm, compassionate care. We're here for you at all ages and stages of your pet's life seven days a week with day and evening hours (and convenient parking!). We offer complete medical, dental and surgical services, advanced diagnostics, preventative/wellness care and vaccinations, senior care, and rehabilitative services including Class IV laser therapy and acupuncture.Our Main Hospital stands on one full acre of land, with over one-third acre of tree-shaded play and exercise yards for our outstanding DOGGIE DAY CARE program and our Boarding "guests." We offer PET BOARDING for all small animals, birds, and exotics and our devoted staff will provide TLC and a "Home Away From Home" for your pet while you're away!
