History
Santa Barbara Pet Hospital was established in 1969 in our current location on Cliff Drive in Santa Barbara. Prior to that, we were known as Tower Veterinary Hospital and were located on Cabrillo Boulevard. The hospital has been owned by several Veterinarians, including Dr. Donald Hur and Dr. Bruce Landis. Dr. David Mutti, a familiar face to many of our long-time clients, purchased the hospital in 1991 and was our hospital director until 2006. Our current hospital director/owner is Dr. Sally Mobraaten; you can learn more about Dr. Mobraaten, and the rest of our staff, on our "Our Staff" page. Currently, we have three veterinarians on staff: Dr. Mobraaten, Dr.Trujillo, and Dr. Doria. All of our doctors treat both dogs and cats, and Dr. Mobraaten and Dr. Trujillo also treat pocket pets such as rats, hamsters, and rabbits.
