History
Since being built as an animal hospital in 1928, Arguello Pet Hospital has had many previous owners. Michael Ina first started working at Arguello Pet Hospital when it was owned by Dr. Sujohn and was managed by Karl Fischer, DVM, back in the summer of 1968. Michael was getting the necessary experience to apply to the School of Veterinary Medicine, Davis. In 1970, Michael Ina was accepted into the School of Veterinary Medicine, Davis. After graduating from the veterinary school in June 1974, he started working as a veterinarian at Arguello Pet Hospital. Since taking over the practice in 1982 from Elmo Shropshire, DVM, Dr. Ina has stressed progressive medicine and quality care for its patients. With continual updates in equipment, improvements to the facility and continuing education for the entire staff, Arguello Pet Hospital will continue to strive to provide the quality veterinary care that has become expected of us.
