As of May 5, 2019, Peninsula Animal Hospital is celebrating 60 years of offering excellent veterinary care to the Monterey Peninsula. We received our AAHA accreditation in 1961 and throughout the years have maintained the high standards required by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Joining as his associate in 2014, Dr. Johanna Sherrill brings a feminine touch to the practice and strives to deliver a thorough medical approach for every case.
We pride ourselves on the follow-up we provide each pet even after a routine visit. Our friendly staff will call, email and text owners to check on pets and deliver any information that owner's may request. Our entire staff is committed to offering superior veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.
We offer a variety of services ranging from internal medicine and general surgery to dental care under anesthesia. All of our procedures are carried out under the latest American Animal Hospital Association recommendations with state-of-the-art equipment.
When your pet boards here, our dedicated staff works hard to give your pet the best possible care- as if they were our own pets. We board all sizes of dogs. We have a wonderful and unique large fenced-in yard for off leash doggie time! Boarding cats get daily supervised playtime outside their kennel in their own ward (where dogs never go!).
