What is your professional background, and what drew you to GeniusVets?

In America, I've worked for Siemens Telecomm, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and the Veterinary Digital Marketing space - Beyond Indigo. I've always worked in network/tech/website support and usually in a Helpdesk management position. There is a sense of isolation from the rest of the departments in this role, even though the connection is strong between myself and my clients. When I first interviewed for GV, I realized that there would not be any isolation issues and that the sense of interdepartmental support and learning would be great.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I get to talk with all the clients about their problems and solve them.

Tell us about your family, including fur babies!

I have two kittens - Matilda and Benny; and one Great Pyr - Obie.

What is one thing you've done that most people have likely never experienced?

I've run an overnight music camp with over 100 kids between the ages of 10-18, and no one died or got pregnant ever.

What's a personal or professional accomplishment that you're really proud of?

My choir.

Have you had any funny animal encounters?

Apart from treeing several bears by accident, we once came upon a moose during a hike, and we just stood and looked at each other for a long time, and then each moved on.
