Share a few sentences about your professional background and what drew you to GeniusVets.

I started working in the veterinary field as a technician. I have worn many hats along the way and been a part of cool projects ranging from practice management, to practice launching, to NOMAD Veterinary Teching. I wanted a place to call home, that was remote and allowed me to still have balance and fun in life. GeniusVets was that place!

What do you love about your role? If you're new to the team, what drew you to this specific role?

I was drawn to this role in particular because of the transformation factor. I am naturally an intrapreneur and enjoy turning ideas and thoughts into reality so this was a natural next step for me.

Pet Info

I have Jiminy Cricket, a 10 year old Orange Tabby, Titi, a 3 year old Standard Poodle, and Tut, 3 year old standard poodle.

Passions or hobbies outside of work

I love the outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, reading, traveling, cooking, networking, and learning!

What's the best advice you've ever gotten?

The time is going to pass anyway so do what you want with the time. If you don't you always wonder what if.

What is one thing you've done that most people have likely never experienced?

Ran a 6 mile mud run in 32 degree weather with my first obstacle being an ice bath!

Do you have any hidden talents or skills?

I am pretty good at reading people.

What's a personal or professional accomplishment that you're really proud of?

My ability to transform my life both professionally and personally.

Have you had any funny animal encounters?

My FFA pig, Pudge, once bit my bottom because he wanted his food.
