Share a few sentences about your professional background and what drew you to GeniusVets.

I have had prior experience working with a small family-run home décor/bedding business; I managed their multi-e-commerce websites and monitored/packaged all online orders and processed invoices, as well as provided customer support. I enjoyed working for a smaller team/company. After that I worked as a technical support for a larger corporate sized business assisting registered nurses with utilizing virtual desktops and other hospital applications with phone/ticket support. I realized that I missed the smaller family-like aspect of a business which is one of the reasons why I was interested in working for GeniusVets.

What do you love about your role? If you're new to the team, what drew you to this specific role?

I absolutely love understanding what a user/client needs or wants assistance with; I enjoy helping others and providing support; therefore, this role works out well for me. I appreciate all of the love and understanding that everyone has for animals here at GeniusVets.

Family Info

2 Cockatiels, Mango (female - 3 years old), Melon (male - 2 years old); Mango loves head scratches and sleeping on my shoulder. Melon loves to bob his head and eat millet or chips.

Passions or hobbies outside of work

Gardening, painting, ceramics, gaming, hiking/ walking on trails, and taking care of my family.

What's the best advice you've ever gotten?

Take it easy with everything.

Have you had any funny animal encounters?

I've hand-fed a bunch of lorikeets before! Lorikeets make really funny sounds.
