About the Role

The role of a Search Engine Marketing Specialist is to deliver search engine optimization (SEO) & pay-per-click (PPC) related services, support, and implementation of GeniusVets marketing offerings for clients with the direction of the Director of Search Engine Marketing.

Reports to: Director of Search Engine Marketing

Compensation: $24,000 - $30,000 USD

Location: South Africa (remote) 

Our compensation is structured to ensure fairness and consistency, so the compensation range offered will fall within this range and is non-negotiable. This is a long-term contract position starting at approximately 30-40 hours per week with ample opportunity to grow your role and pay as the company grows.

Roles / Responsibilities

  • Set up and management of client PPC campaigns:
    • Set up new Google Ads accounts and campaigns based on PPC intake form
    • Create Unbounce landing pages for new PPC clients
    • Check Google Ads for any issues and recommendations
    • Optimize Google Ads accounts (check keywords, assets, performance metrics)
  • Optimization of client websites during and after launch: Execution of SEO related tasks to ensure that client websites are fully optimized at launch according to current GeniusVets site optimization guidelines and project tasks
  • Set up clients in the tools included in their my.GV subscription: Establish my.GV accounts for new clients including analytics dashboards and directory optimization reports
  • Support Product Success Team:
    • Working with Success Coaches to ensure that GV SEO/PPC guidelines, recommendations and methodologies are well understood and easily communicated to clients
    • Provide day-to-day support for all CSCs on client queries and performance metrics
    • Complete Account Review Framework (ARF) reports
  • Check on and respond to client-submitted HelpDesk tickets assigned to the optimization department

Valuable Final Product:

Increased client revenue by generating more appointments for clients through optimized PPC campaigns and industry-leading SEO. As well as providing support to internal team members when they need more information about any questions related to SEO, PPC, and analytics.
