About the Role

  • Serve as initial point of contact for potential customer via phone and email
  • Initiate outbound calls and answer inbound calls received through multiple lead generation channels in a prompt and professional fashion
  • Overcome objections from potential customer regarding scheduling, cost, etc. to schedule sales consultation
  • Use omni-channel outreach and prospecting techniques to find prospects not listed in the CRM 
  • Follow up with booked appointments to confirm attendance
  • Collaborate with our team of Veterinary Marketing Consults to ensure smooth handoff of qualified appointments
  • Travel to Veterinary conventions nationwide and interact with the prospects you will be calling
  • Assist veterinary practices in claiming their profiles on GeniusVets.com, ensuring they are engaged and well-informed
  • Document and update customer interaction within customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Track and record all calls and sales progress in CRM
  • Provide daily activity and results reports
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings 
  • Consistently adhere to sales metrics and goals 

You will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for our new call center team, with ample opportunity to grow your skills and role.

Requirements

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Sales experience or strong desire to begin a sales career 
Proven results in selling and/or relationship building 
Quick on your feet and are comfortable talking to both warm and cold leads 
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand
PC literate with ability to learn a variety of software programs (including Hubspot and other company systems)
Strong time management/prioritization skills
Active listening skills with the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully

Pay 

  • Base salary of $38,000 plus generous commission – potential to earn well over $50,000/year, with opportunities for advancement within our sales team

Location:

  • This role is open to U.S-based applicants. 
  • This is primarily a work-from-home position, with occasional travel to conferences — on average, we travel about once every 1-2 months
