Owner and Owner
Dr. Jules DePorre is one of the founding owners of DePorre Veterinary Hospital. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and his DVM from Michigan State University. What he appreciates most about this animal hospital is the truly caring, dedicated, hard-working individuals who pull together as a team for the benefit of patients and their families.
At home, Dr. DePorre and his wife, Sharon, have four children: Jules M., an assistant federal prosecutor; Brian, a chemist and laboratory manager; Adrienne, MD, a pediatric hospitalist; and Daniel, MD, who is completing his residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He also has a dog, Benny. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time at the family cottage in Northern Michigan, kayaking, hiking, gardening, and enjoying family time, especially with his six grandchildren.
